Social Security Disability Income and Unemployment Insurance
The Government Accountability Office (GAO) was asked by a group of senators to examine cases in which individuals receive benefits from Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) and Unemployment Insurance (UI) simultaneously. The GAO stated that it is possible for individuals to receive SSDI and UI concurrently, but this situation could be an indication of improper payments.
